Jennifer Haase needs your help to complete her next record “No More Invitations.”
Here is why, right from Jennifer:
On The Biggest Loser, everyone's trying to lose the most weight each week to avoid elimination, to avoid having to go home. Their "last chance workout" is the last workout of the week before they weigh in. Their trainers damn near kill them during this workout. And they damn near kill themselves, because they know that the only way to guarantee their success is to work harder than they have all week to reach their very important goals.
Gang, for me and my album "No More Invitations" it's truly Last Chance Workout time. For many reasons, I will be sent the hell home if I don't work harder now than I ever have to get this new album done and printed and released ASAP.
Reason #1: There is strong interest from companies like Bug Music, Inc. to represent my new songs for licensing opportunities, to pitch to bigger name recording artists, to make money with my songs without taking my music publishing rights away. They need more finished songs from me to even consider taking me on.
Reason #2: There is a booking agent in the UK who is very interested in adding me as an opener to a full 6-week tour with one of her established acts this coming autumn. To add me to a tour without a new album to promote yet just doesn't make sense for either she or me. Without that new album in my hands, I risk losing her interest and I sure don't stand a chance of gaining anyone else's.
Reason #3: I am reaching out to artist managers and record labels for their interest, as well, and the response I always hear (from those who reply at all) is "Let us know when that new album is done and we'll take a listen."
Reason #4: Booking agents, managers, licensing companies, recording artists, the buying public... they all pay attention to reviews. I can't get reviews until I have songs to be reviewed. See how the big circle all ties together?
Reason #5: I quit my cushy full-time job with rockin' amazing benefits to give this singer/songwriter thing everything I've got. I didn't do that blindly. I know this is what I'm meant to do. But, yes, I need finished songs to survive now. And my hunger to survive and finish what I started is getting so big it's about to get pretty damn buzzed with motivation and perspiration around here.
That's at least five big reasons why I need to finish this album right now. And I need at least $5,000 more to do it. Last Chance Workout. You're about to watch me sweat like I never have before. I'm making cold calls and knocking on doors. I'm calling in favors and adding a new "Executive Producer" opportunity for small investors (see below). I'm kissing babies and then yankin' on my sneaks and taking this thing to an all out run.
